We are a proud, woman-owned small business with roots dating back to 1997, when we began as MBS Fabrication Inc. in Southbridge, Massachusetts. In 2016, we expanded our legacy by opening a facility in Inman, South Carolina, and in January 2023 we rebranded that facility as MBX Aerogen, Inc. to reflect our growing focus on aerospace and power generation manufacturing.
Our Story
Our journey began nearly three decades ago, rooted in a dedication to craftsmanship and innovation. As a woman-owned business, we bring a unique perspective to the aerospace industry, blending deep expertise with a relentless drive to grow. Today, our Spartanburg County facility is the heart of that expansion — where we’ve cultivated strong relationships with exceptional partners and continue to build new alliances as we develop our customer base in the region. Employee safety, unmatched quality, and on-time delivery are more than goals — they’re the foundation of everything we do.
Our Capabilities
Our facility is built for full-service aerospace manufacturing, equipped across eight departments: cutting, rolling, deburring, pressing, welding, CNC machining, general machine, and inspection. Our CNC department alone runs ten Haas machines — a combination of lathes and mills — supported by AMADA laser cutters, water jet, press brakes, a full weld department with over a dozen Lincoln and Miller welders, and a dedicated inspection suite including Keyence CMMs, calipers, height gages, and pin sets. The depth and breadth of our equipment means most programs can be completed entirely in-house, under one roof, with a single point of accountability.
